The HBPOA has launched a straw poll survey to allow all Holden Beach property owners to cast a YES or NO vote on the pier bonds.  For those who do not live here and are not registered to vote in Holden Beach, this is your chance to provide input on this important decision.

If you are a registered voter in Holden Beach, you must still vote in the November election for your vote on the bond referendum to count, but please also participate in this straw poll so your vote can be included in our results.

The poll is being conducted using the Election Runner online system and ballots are secret.  You can vote online, by text, or by leaving a voice message.

This straw poll is not limited to just HBPOA members. Each property on the island is assigned a unique Voter ID and a Voter Key to ensure only one vote may be cast per household.  Each household gets only one vote regardless of how many people there are or how many properties they own.

Every property owner should receive an email and/or a paper ballot with information about how to vote.  This information will also be included in our Fall Newsletter that will be mailed in the next week or two.  Please contact us at HBPOA@hotmail.com if you have not received your information by the end of the month.

The results will be presented to the Town and posted on our website.
